Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
  • Represent clients in court, including making appearances and handling associated travel as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of consumer credit collections, relevant state laws, and FDCPA regulations to client cases.
  • Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates and address their concerns.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop and implement case strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to each case.
  • Stay current on changes in consumer credit collection laws and practices.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the Ohio State Bar.
  • Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in creditor's rights and consumer credit collections.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar is required.
  • Additional certifications related to creditor's rights or consumer protection are a plus.
