Job Overview

This role involves working on compliance, investigations, and policy development related to Title IX, civil rights, and other regulatory frameworks for a variety of institutions, including educational organizations, corporations, and nonprofits.

Duties

  • Conduct investigations into matters involving Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or civil rights laws addressing:
    • Sexual and gender-based harassment and violence
    • Protected class discrimination or harassment
    • Child or elder abuse
  • Provide advisory support on creating trauma-informed, equitable, and unbiased resolution processes.
  • Develop and refine institutional policies, procedures, and educational materials related to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Title IX, the Clery Act, child protection frameworks, and other legal regulations.
  • Deliver training and policy design for systems addressing misconduct and governance issues.
  • Collaborate with various institutions, including K-12 schools, colleges, hospitals, and nonprofits, on safety and compliance infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with investigations and compliance in Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or similar regulatory domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of laws addressing harassment, discrimination, and abuse.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel for work-related assignments.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA).
