Job Overview

A law firm located in West Conshohocken, PA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced attorney to join its Institutional Response Group. This role involves working on compliance, investigations, and policy development related to Title IX, civil rights, and other regulatory frameworks for a variety of institutions, including educational organizations, corporations, and nonprofits.

Duties

• Conduct investigations into matters involving Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or civil rights laws addressing:
  • Sexual and gender-based harassment and violence
  • Protected class discrimination or harassment
  • Child or elder abuse
• Provide advisory support on creating trauma-informed, equitable, and unbiased resolution processes.
• Develop and refine institutional policies, procedures, and educational materials related to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with Title IX, the Clery Act, child protection frameworks, and other legal regulations.
• Deliver training and policy design for systems addressing misconduct and governance issues.
• Collaborate with various institutions, including K-12 schools, colleges, hospitals, and nonprofits, on safety and compliance infrastructure.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with investigations and compliance in Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or similar regulatory domains.
• In-depth knowledge of laws addressing harassment, discrimination, and abuse.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel for work-related assignments.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA).
