A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney for their Nashville, TN, office.

Job Overview:

The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, provide legal counsel, and advocate for clients' rights throughout the legal process. The role involves client communication, deposition taking and defense, research and drafting, mediation leadership, case strategy development, and trial representation.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other case parties.
• Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and testimony.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Lead mediations to negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Develop effective case strategies based on thorough analysis and evaluation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
• Proficiency in drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar.
