Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an E-Discovery Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This role involves delivering high-quality discovery services for civil and criminal litigation, as well as government and internal investigations. The position focuses on integrating technological capabilities with legal expertise to develop efficient and effective discovery strategies.

Location:

  • Charlotte, North Carolina

Duties:

  • Manage discovery processes in civil litigation and complex investigations
  • Handle preservation, collection, review, and production of documents
  • Lead document review teams
  • Perform quality control (QC) reviews and draft privilege logs
  • Report on document review metrics
  • Provide advisory services on all aspects of discovery

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in document review with team leadership responsibilities
  • Substantial experience in QC reviews, privilege logs, and reporting document review metrics
  • Strong familiarity with e-discovery technology, particularly Relativity
  • Knowledge of civil litigation procedures

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar (preferred)

Skills:

  • Expertise in e-discovery processes and technologies
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex discovery projects efficiently
