Job Overview:

A law firm in Wheeling, WV, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in M&A and Private Equity transactions within a major law firm. Superior academic credentials, exceptional communication skills, and membership in the WV State Bar are required.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis about M&A and Private Equity transactions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, such as purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and due diligence materials.
  • Assist in negotiating and structuring M&A and Private Equity deals.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal advice and support throughout the transaction process.
