Family Law Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney to represent clients in legal matters. This role involves working closely with clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Location:

Duties:

• Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants, ensuring accurate time records and overseeing client billing
• Organize client meetings and manage client-related tasks
• Identify potential client conflicts and devise case strategies for resolution
• Represent clients in court, argue motions, and handle legal proceedings
• Prepare legal documents including briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence
• Manage and oversee the work of paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff

Requirements:

• Strong decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience representing clients for at least 2 years

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the local bar association (preferred)
