Job Overview: A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate practice group. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducted legal research and analyzed real estate law and related legal issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate documents, including leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents.
  • Assist in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Represent clients in real estate litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Advise clients on compliance with real estate regulations and laws.
  • Prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and opinions.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.
  • Manage and prioritize a diverse and high-volume caseload.
  • Stay current on changes in real estate law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the North Dakota State Bar or eligibility to become licensed.
  • Experience in real estate law or related practice areas.
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions and property law.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
