Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and innovative Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Brooklyn, New York. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of complex litigation matters, including commercial litigation, labor and employment law (commercial class-action defense), general business law, and healthcare law. Duties:

• Manage all aspects of pre-trial proceedings, including discovery, motion practice, court conferences, and depositions.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as bills of particulars, pleadings, discovery motions, and appellate briefs.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and develop well-reasoned arguments.
• Handle the intake of contract requests and conduct client interviews related to contract matters.
• Resolve disputes through negotiation and settlement efforts.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent and clear communication.
• Keep partners informed of key developments and case progress.
• Apply sound business and legal judgment in decision-making.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, with a strong understanding of trial preparation and motion practice.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with professionalism and integrity.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
