Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney in Denver, CO. The Associate Attorney will handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more. From inception to resolution, the candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations, and contribute to the firm's continued success. The attorney will engage in diverse and intellectually stimulating civil litigation matters, ranging from high-profile cases to everyday disputes.

Duties:

• Handle a broad spectrum of civil litigation cases
• Conduct legal research
• Draft pleadings and motions
• Manage discovery
• Represent clients in court

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the Colorado State Bar in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting
• Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience is a plus
• Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while also working collaboratively with team members
• Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes

Certifications:

Admission to the Colorado State Bar

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
