Job Overview:

A prominent law firm located in West Palm Beach, FL, specializing in mortgage lender, bank, and financial institution services, is seeking a qualified Litigation Attorney to join their team. This dynamic role requires expertise in foreclosure litigation, real estate law, bankruptcy, and title law. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, highly organized, and able to handle a demanding workload while providing exceptional legal services.

Duties:

• Represent secured creditors, mortgage servicers, and banks in foreclosure and related litigation.
• Draft and file various legal motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and orders to show cause.
• Conduct and defend depositions in foreclosure-related matters.
• Review and respond to court correspondence and attorney communications.
• Analyze and interpret applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.
• Review and evaluate legal documents, evidence, and data to form strategic legal responses.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in foreclosure litigation.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience handling litigation matters.
• Ability to manage complex and high-volume caseloads effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Strong knowledge of real estate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and title law.
• Time management and multitasking capabilities.
• High attention to detail, with a focus on producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Ability to handle complex legal and procedural issues with minimal supervision.
