Job Title: Junior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Plano, TX, is seeking a Junior Attorney to analyze legal conflicts, advise clients, and negotiate on behalf of clients. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case handling while creating various legal documents and conducting thorough legal research.

Duties:

• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
• Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
• Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
• Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
• Handle a caseload from beginning to end

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
• Must have passed the Bar exam
• Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
