Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through settlement or jury verdict
  • Communicate with clients to provide legal counsel and updates on case progress
  • Conduct depositions, represent clients in mediations, and prepare cases for trial
  • Develop and execute case strategies
  • Research legal precedents and draft necessary motions
  • Present cases in court and lead in first-chair jury trials
  • Collaborate with a national team of attorneys and local support staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation
  • Proven track record as a first-chair trial attorney
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Bar
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Evidence Rules
  • Experience drafting and responding to motions
