A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Immigration Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, with a strong desire to specialize in immigration law. The role involves managing multiple cases, supervising staff, and providing exceptional legal services to clients. Key Duties:

  • Meet with potential new clients to provide legal advice and discuss case strategies.
  • Coordinate case and legal strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Train and supervise staff to maintain high standards of legal practice.
  • Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case arguments.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and judicial case law relevant to immigration.
  • Market the law firm's services to attract new clients.
  • Work one Saturday a month, with potential bonuses for new clients signed during these days.
  • Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm to existing and potential clients.
  • Handle court hearings and trials with professionalism and expertise.
  • Become an expert in Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school (required).
  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico (required).
  • Fluency in Spanish (required).
  • At least 1 year of immigration experience preferred; motivated attorneys with experience in other legal areas are encouraged to apply.

 

Education:

J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required).

 

Certifications:

Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico (required).

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of immigration law and procedures.
  • Marketing and business development skills.
  • Leadership and staff supervision capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
