Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, trials, and negotiations.
• Perform comprehensive legal research to support ongoing cases.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and opposing counsel.
• Stay informed on updates in legal procedures and relevant laws.
• Manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
• Participate in relevant legal organizations and professional groups.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Virginia (Virginia State Bar admission required).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven oral advocacy and negotiation capabilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Knowledge of Virginia state court procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.
