Duties

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draft necessary legal documents.
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings and provide legal counsel on case strategies.
• Handle court appearances, trials, motion drafting, and witness interviews.
• Perform legal research and analyze case precedents to determine probable outcomes.
• Manage a caseload effectively while ensuring strong client communication.
• Gather and analyze additional evidence to support the client’s case.
• Prepare clients for depositions and develop case strategies.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses to strengthen defense arguments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in criminal defense law.
• Proven ability to handle complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong trial advocacy skills and experience managing case strategy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams and support staff.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing.
