A prominent law firm located in Philadelphia, PA is actively seeking a litigation attorney to join its employment law group. This role offers the opportunity to take on a diverse portfolio of employment-related legal disputes, while also handling some general defense litigation matters across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Duties

• Represent clients in employment law disputes and general litigation defense matters

• Manage a caseload involving claims of workplace misconduct, discrimination, wrongful termination, and related actions

• Draft and respond to legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare case assessments, and participate in hearings, arbitrations, and trials

• Engage in legal research and provide strategic legal guidance

• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably focused on employment-related defense

• Prior experience with general liability defense is preferred

• Strong command of procedural and substantive issues in employment law

• Demonstrated proficiency with litigation tools and drafting legal documents

• Admission to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
