A law firm seeks a seasoned Finance Partner to join its expanding Corporate and Finance practice group. This role, based in Palm Beach, Florida, is ideal for an attorney with extensive experience in commercial finance transactions, looking to further their business development success. The firm offers a collaborative environment focused on growth, both for clients and professionals.

Duties:

  • Represent lenders, borrowers, sponsors, and institutional investors in a range of commercial finance transactions.
  • Handle various types of finance, including asset-based, cash flow, senior, mezzanine, subordinated, and leveraged/acquisition finance.
  • Assist clients in structured finance, private credit, and direct lending transactions.
  • Collaborate across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Negotiate and draft key legal documents, including inter-creditor agreements and other finance-related agreements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial finance law.
  • Expertise in negotiating and structuring secured and unsecured financing transactions.
  • Proficiency in commercial mortgage transactions, asset-based financings, and cross-border finance.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and foreign financial institutions, non-traditional lenders, and other financial services entities.
  • Ability to provide legal support to a variety of lending, finance, and investment clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and legal analysis abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions.
