Estate Planning Attorney

Phoenix office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an estate planning attorney preferably with 4-8 years of experience with various aspects of estate planning and probate, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments; advising clients as to how to fund their trusts, including; advising clients as to making beneficiary changes to their retirement plan and IRAs, real estate transfer instruments, assignments of interests in limited liability companies, partnerships, and corporations, etc.; preparing federal transfer tax returns, including for estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes; providing advice and guidance to clients needing more advanced estate plans, including charitable planning, business succession planning, and income tax planning and implementation of the same; assisting with the administration of estates and trusts, including preparing and submitting probate court filings and follow up with the court, as necessary. Must have Admission to Arizona Bar.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. An LLM in Taxation or a candidate who is also a CPA is a plus. The ability to interface directly with clients is required. The ability to work effectively with planning and development departments is needed. Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills. Should have strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills. Outstanding judgment is required.
