Associate Attorney/Law Clerk

Job Overview:
A growing consumer litigation firm is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Attorney (or soon-to-be attorney) to join their team. Location:
Dublin, OH

Duties:

• Draft litigation documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery, under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
• Manage an individual caseload with support from a manager and paralegal.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their understanding of legal processes.
• Participate in strategy sessions with senior attorneys to develop case approaches.

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and manage time effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• A positive and professional attitude with a commitment to helping clients.
• A demonstrated interest in litigation, foreclosure defense, and consumer protection.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school (or expected graduation in the near future for law clerks).

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio (or be in the process of obtaining licensure).

Skills:

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
