Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm located in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong background in litigation and an interest in creditor’s rights law. This position will focus on managing and developing cases from start to finish, attending hearings, preparing legal documents, and ensuring a high standard of service for clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent legal research, communication, and organizational skills while being a collaborative team player.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, and court rules.
• Prepare and manage case files, including attending hearings, depositions, and conferences.
• Draft motions, filings, and legal documents in support of cases.
• Develop case strategies, working closely with clients and witnesses to build strong testimonies.
• Supervise and coordinate with paralegals in case preparation and discovery processes.
• Ensure smooth case management by monitoring deadlines and keeping case information organized.
• Facilitate effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain cost efficiency by managing case-related expenses and identifying opportunities for savings.
• Continuously improve case-handling processes to enhance quality and outcomes.
• Stay updated on legal developments and participate in continuing legal education (CLE) opportunities.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited ABA law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Arizona.
• Proven experience with the litigation process from case filing to judgment enforcement.
• Experience in creditor’s rights law is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must be located in Arizona and available to work in the office.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the State of Arizona.
