A well-established law firm located in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling a variety of plaintiff personal injury cases and will advocate for clients with empathy and determination. The successful candidate will be involved in both pre-litigation and litigation phases, ensuring that clients receive top-notch legal services throughout the process.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury cases, overseeing both pre-litigation and litigation phases.
  • Perform legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Maintain and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring transparent and regular communication.
  • Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff on case strategy and progress.
  • Participate in team discussions to refine legal strategies and share case insights.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures, firm policies, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Michigan Bar license in good standing.
  • 3-6 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff-side required; defense-side experience a plus).
  • Strong ability to manage cases independently while ensuring positive outcomes for clients.
  • Exceptional legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • High level of empathy, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining client-centered service.

Education:
