Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Henderson, NV, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Nevada, self-motivated, a critical thinker, and a team player. This role involves engaging in various aspects of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, trials, and arbitrations.

Duties:

• Assist with and participate in motion practice, including researching, drafting, and arguing motions.
• Prepare for, summarize, defend, and take depositions.
• Represent clients at trials and arbitrations, providing robust legal advocacy.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and execute legal plans.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and developments.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nevada State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to think critically and work independently.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar (required).
