Duties

• Review and analyze client legal issues to determine the best course of action.
• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing for hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts.
• Provide legal counsel to clients with the support of senior associate attorneys.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and paralegals to resolve cases efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure client files are up-to-date and organized for easy access by the legal team.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Passed the state bar exam and holds a valid law license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with staff and clients at all levels.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the firm by working closely with senior attorneys.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state Bar admission (Texas Bar preferred).
