A law firm seeks a skilled Healthcare Transactional Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team in Austin, TX. Duties

  • Prepare and negotiate corporate and transactional documents, such as entity formation, governance documents, operating agreements, compliance documents, and M&A agreements.
  • Advise clients on regulatory matters, including compliance with healthcare-specific laws such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HIPAA/HITECH.
  • Assist in structuring healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and other business deals.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance on healthcare law issues, helping clients navigate the complex regulatory environment.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure the smooth execution of healthcare transactions and compliance strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare transactional law, with specific knowledge of healthcare regulations such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HIPAA/HITECH.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating corporate and transactional documents.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • Business development experience is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
