Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. This role is ideal for an attorney with over 3 years of experience in real estate, specifically in acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The position is available as either a full-time or part-time opportunity and provides the flexibility to work in a hybrid setting, offering a mix of in-office and remote work. Candidates should possess strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
  • Advise clients on investment funds related to real estate transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements and documents
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and trends in real estate and investment funds
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and third parties
  • Manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as required by the firm

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues and transactions

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Washington, DC
