Duties:

  • Represent clients in criminal defense and personal injury cases.

  • Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and manage cases for trial, including the development of case strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records for all client matters.

  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff in handling caseloads.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends relevant to the practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida with a valid Florida Bar License.
  • Proven experience in criminal law and legal proceedings.
  • Trial experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
