Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings.
  • Advise clients on bankruptcy options and strategies.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing bankruptcy petitions, motions, and related legal documents.
  • Participate in bankruptcy hearings and court proceedings.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys to manage case load and meet client needs.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on the progress of their cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law, including student loan modification and mortgage modification.
  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Familiarity with bankruptcy court processes and procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar).

Skills:

  • Expertise in bankruptcy law, particularly in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
