A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney to join its team in Wexford, PA. This full-time position is designed for a legal professional with extensive experience in civil litigation, particularly in real estate matters. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, engage in legal research, and provide comprehensive representation to clients in various forums, including state and federal courts.

Duties

  • Handle a caseload primarily consisting of non-jury litigation matters in real estate, including HOA disputes, Seller Disclosure issues, Partition actions, and Quiet Title actions.
  • Manage construction and business litigation cases from inception through appellate practice.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft essential legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings to advocate for clients and present legal arguments.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and representation, ensuring clients are informed throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with junior and senior attorneys on larger matters, fostering a team-oriented approach to case management.
  • Participate in regular meetings with managing attorneys to review case progress and workload distribution.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation, including trial experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods is an advantage.

Education
