A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in motor vehicle, construction litigation, and premises liability. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of matters, managing their own cases, drafting pleadings and legal documents, taking and defending depositions, providing strategic legal analysis, and appearing in court as needed. Excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills are essential. The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of litigation matters independently.
  • Manage own cases from inception to resolution.
  • Draft pleadings and legal documents.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Provide strategic legal analysis.
  • Appear in court as needed.
  • Draft pleadings and dispositive motions.
  • Answer written discovery.
  • Handle oral arguments.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in motor vehicle, construction litigation, and premises liability.
  • Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania.
