This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while managing caseloads, conducting in-depth legal research, negotiating settlements, and providing counsel to clients regarding wills, trusts, and estate planning.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in probate and guardianship litigation
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to estates, trusts, and guardianships
  • Attend hearings and client meetings, providing strategic legal advice
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and litigation efforts
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in probate and guardianship matters
  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in probate, guardianship, or related litigation
  • Ability to handle a diverse and complex caseload
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
