Consumer Financial Services Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Illinois-barred attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join their Consumer Financial Services Attorney team. Duties:

• Represent clients in consumer financial services litigation matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding consumer finance laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to achieve client objectives.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Illinois Bar and active status.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Familiarity with consumer finance laws and regulations.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois Bar.
