Job Overview:

Duties:

• Develop and implement effective legal strategies for complex cases.
• Independently manage a caseload, ensuring each matter progresses efficiently and effectively.
• Draft, file, and manage pleadings, legal documents, and related materials.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide insightful analysis to support client cases.
• Build and nurture client relationships, offering strategic legal advice.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Oversee and manage the discovery process, including depositions.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving for favorable resolutions.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, arbitrations, and before government agencies.
• Maintain a high standard of ethics in all client and opposing party interactions.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Colorado.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional legal experience with a focus on litigation.
• Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex legal issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle court appearances and depositions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
