Personal Injury Associate Attorney

A well-established boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Brooklyn, NY office. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, with a focus on personal injury, discrimination, wrongful arrest, medical malpractice, and other general litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of personal injury experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to handle cases independently from start to finish.

Duties

• Oversee and manage personal injury cases from initiation to resolution.
• Handle a variety of cases, including personal injury, discrimination, wrongful termination, medical malpractice, real estate litigation, and commercial litigation.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts.
• Conduct depositions, motion arguments, prepare briefs, handle appeals, and assist in trials.
• Appear regularly in court and attend remote conferences, arguments, and depositions.
• Maintain frequent communication with clients to provide updates and guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Personable and professional, with a desire to grow as a litigator.
• Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
