Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Associate to join its team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Duties

• Handle case management responsibilities across multiple litigation areas, including product liability, business litigation, and financial services disputes.
• Conduct thorough fact investigations and develop case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other pre-trial advocacy efforts.
• Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward efficiently.
• Provide analysis and assessments on case developments and recommend strategic approaches.
• Work closely with internal legal teams and external clients, maintaining strong communication and professional relationships.

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Interest in hands-on trial and courtroom advocacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to collaboration and contributing to team success.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• An active member in good standing with the Minnesota State Bar.
