Duties

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of litigation matters.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Provide client updates and ensure case progress is accurately documented.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with complex business disputes and litigation preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior attorneys and manage cases independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Member of the Illinois Bar in good standing.

Certifications & Skills

  • Illinois Bar License (Required).
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience with motions, briefs, and trial preparation.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis.
  • Experience handling arbitration or mediation proceedings is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
