Duties

• Provide comprehensive representation across all stages of litigation, from pleadings to expert discovery

• Manage court appearances, including hearings, depositions, and case management conferences

• Conduct in-depth legal research and factual investigations related to client matters

• Prepare and draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery materials, and settlement agreements

• Analyze deposition transcripts and discovery responses; summarize and compile litigation progress reports

• Engage in direct negotiation with opposing counsel to resolve disputes when possible

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to provide legal insight, procedural updates, and strategic advice

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania

• Between 0-5 years of experience in litigation-related roles

• Prior experience with discovery drafting, motion practice, and deposition participation

• Familiarity with both state and federal civil procedure rules

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities

• Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced legal setting

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Working knowledge of legal research platforms such as Lexis

• Exceptional organization and time management skills

• Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to casework
