Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and create tailored strategies to address the clients' goals and concerns.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective case management and quality service.
  • Communicate with clients in a compassionate and empathetic manner while keeping them informed throughout the legal process.
  • Ensure all legal documents are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Assist in managing and organizing caseloads, ensuring proper follow-up and case progression.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in New Mexico, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law and/or probate law.
  • Courtroom experience is essential, including hearings and trial work.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client relations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality legal services.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • New Mexico State Bar license required.
