A prominent law firm in New York City is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its growing practice. This role involves working across multiple practice groups, including Intellectual Property, Advertising, Art and Fashion Law, Privacy and Cybersecurity, and White Collar Defense. The position offers the opportunity to lead litigation teams and collaborate closely with partners, with a hybrid work arrangement of three days in-office and two days remote per week.

Duties:

  • Lead and support litigation teams across various practice areas.
  • Manage commercial litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues in complex litigation cases.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with partners from different practice groups to provide comprehensive legal strategies.
  • Ensure superior client service and satisfaction through effective communication and case management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Team player with a focus on delivering high-quality legal work.
  • Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
  • Federal or state judicial clerkship and foreign language skills (preferred but not required).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive into the NY Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead litigation teams.
