Job Overview

A law firm in Dallas, TX, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to lead complex litigation cases with strategic insight and expertise. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to junior attorneys and participating in high-level strategy discussions with the managing litigation attorney.

Job Duties

• Lead and manage complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with client goals.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in personal injury litigation.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Participate in and contribute to high-level strategy discussions with the managing litigation attorney.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
• Prepare and present cases in court, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven ability to manage and try complex cases.
• Exceptional mentorship and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.
