Duties

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies.

  • Engage with clients from varied backgrounds, including incarcerated individuals, ensuring their legal needs are met.

  • Stay updated on evolving civil rights laws and contribute to legal precedent through advocacy.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law.

  • 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil rights or constitutional law.

  • Strong legal research and writing skills, particularly in drafting complex motions and case law analysis.

  • Experience in handling depositions, court hearings, and appeals.

  • Deep commitment to civil rights advocacy and legal reform.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
