Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The firm offers benefits, including a 401(k) retirement plan, health and dental plan contributions, subsidized gym membership, and disability coverage.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various employment law matters, focusing on the plaintiff's perspective.
• Handle cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related claims.
• Conduct legal research, analyze statutes and case law, and provide informed legal opinions to clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions, settlement agreements, and employment contracts.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings before agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC), as well as in state and federal court proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and employers, striving to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nevada State Bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing employment law, focusing on representing plaintiffs.
• Thoroughly understand federal and state employment laws, regulations, and court decisions.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
