A law firm in New York City seeks a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in general commercial litigation. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse cases and grow within a dynamic legal environment.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses and conducting document reviews.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in general commercial litigation.
  • Prior clerkship experience preferred.
  • Experience in environmental and employment litigation is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills.

Education and Certifications:
