Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for Washington, DC office

A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney with a focus on cybersecurity and data privacy law for their Washington, D.C. office.

Duties:

• Assist with cybersecurity preparedness and data breach response.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy law in the US.
• Handle regulatory investigations related to cybersecurity and data privacy issues.

Experience:

2-4 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, or artificial intelligence matters.

Requirements:

• High level of academic achievement.
• Solid law firm experience preferred.
• Strong interest in the field of cybersecurity and data privacy.
• Work experience in the federal government or law enforcement on cybersecurity or data privacy issues is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in Washington, D.C. or eligibility for admission through waiver.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
