A reputable personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its San Antonio office, focusing on real estate litigation for Property Owners' Associations. This role is ideal for a candidate with up to three years of legal experience, strong organizational skills, and a solid foundation in litigation processes.

Location

Duties

  • Advise and assist clients on issues related to debt collection, enforcement of restrictive covenants, bankruptcy, probate, and corporate document interpretation
  • Manage high-volume collections, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Review and draft correspondence, emails, and legal documents for collections cases
  • Engage actively in litigation, including drafting lawsuits, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, taking depositions, attending pre-trial hearings, and assisting in trials as second chair
  • Attend client meetings and provide support for ongoing cases

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in a legal setting
  • Demonstrated strong math, writing, and legal research skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Graduated in the top half of the class (please specify class ranking on the resume)

Certifications
