Mid-level Leveraged Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a mid-level leveraged finance associate to join its team, focusing on supporting both lender and borrower practices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in leveraged buyout financing. Strong academic credentials, significant experience in a large law firm, and exceptional analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential.

Duties

• Assist in structuring and negotiating leveraged finance transactions, specifically regarding buyouts and acquisitions.
• Provide support for both lender and borrower-side practices within the finance team.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence and thorough analysis of financing agreements and related documents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate crucial legal documents, including loan agreements and credit facilities.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to devise effective financing strategies.
• Stay informed about current market trends and legal developments in leveraged finance.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance is preferred.

Certifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in FL.
