Duties

  • Collaborate with financial advisors and accountants to design integrated plans that minimize estate and gift taxes.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting estate planning.
  • Advocate for clients by thoroughly understanding their needs, analyzing situations, and developing actionable strategies.
  • Prepare essential documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Provide clients with guidance on retirement plans, charitable contributions, and insurance options.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of estate, gift, and income tax laws.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases while delivering high-quality client service.
  • Minimum of 5 years of estate planning experience with a strong emphasis on tax-related issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in navigating stressful and emotionally charged situations.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
