Job Overview: An established law firm is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate to join its growing team in Princeton, NJ. The firm is renowned for its extensive experience in labor and employment law, focusing on representing management in the public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment litigation, restrictive covenants, FINRA arbitrations, noncompete agreements, and employment/severance agreements. Location:

  • Princeton, NJ

Duties:

  • Represent management in various labor and employment law matters.
  • Handle employment litigation, including cases related to restrictive covenants and noncompete agreements.
  • Assist with FINRA arbitrations, including raiding and recruiting issues.
  • Draft and negotiate employment and severance agreements.
  • Provide counsel on employment law matters for clients in both the public and private sectors.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong experience in employment litigation, restrictive covenants, FINRA arbitrations, noncompete agreements, and employment/severance agreements.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
  • Additional bar admissions are a plus.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New Jersey Bar.
  • Additional state bar admissions are a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on client service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
