The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing finance, development, and incentives.

Duties:

  • Lead affordable housing development and finance transactions from structuring to drafting and negotiating key documents.

  • Conduct in-depth due diligence and manage multiple aspects of projects, ensuring smooth transaction flows.

  • Handle all aspects of project management, coordinating closely with clients and opposing parties.

  • Negotiate complex legal and business issues related to affordable housing.

  • Collaborate within a team environment, providing guidance and leadership on deals.

  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, opposing parties, and team members, ensuring alignment and clarity.

  • Effectively manage tight deadlines and high-pressure situations, delivering results under time constraints.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of law firm experience, focusing on affordable housing, including finance, development, and incentives.

  • Strong experience in structuring and managing affordable housing transactions, with the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.

  • Experience in drafting and negotiating various transaction documents.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.

  • Proven ability to lead client relationships and take initiative on high-stakes deals.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.
