This role involves managing personal injury cases through all stages, from intake to litigation, with a strong emphasis on client advocacy and case development. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, managing all stages from pre-litigation to trial.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and responses.
  • Collaborate closely with paralegals and legal assistants, effectively delegating tasks as needed.
  • Negotiate settlements and effectively communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare and try cases initially with partner assistance, then independently.

Requirements:

  • Active Oregon State Bar license.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
  • Willingness and readiness to represent clients in the courtroom.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently while working collaboratively in a team setting.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active and in-good-standing membership with the Oregon State Bar.
