Duties:

  • Represent clients before USCIS, ICE, CBP, EOIR, BIA, federal courts, and the Department of State.
  • Handle cases related to criminal immigration issues, juvenile cases, and VAWA, U, and T visas.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients throughout the immigration process.
  • Prepare and submit legal documents, including petitions, applications, and briefs.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff on complex immigration matters.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in the United States and in good standing.
  • 1-5 years of immigration law experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish (written and oral) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong immigration litigation experience may be considered in lieu of Spanish language skills.
  • Excellent writing, legal analysis, and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a heavy caseload.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in legal software.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in good standing.
